As a caregiver, it can be extremely stressful and concerning to see your loved one experience paranoia or hallucinations. This may occur if your loved one has dementia or Alzheimer's. Individuals with these conditions may hear, see, smell, or feel something that is not actually present. They may even have a conversation with a person from their past or friend who is not present.
